Roles & Responsibilities of Commercial Account Manager

We provide a consultative selling approach to small and medium businesses across the GTA. Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for the businesses we work with to communicate & connect with their clients more effectively. The role of the Commercial Account Manager is to collaborate with their sales team to ensure sales targets are met in all lines of business.

The Commercial Account Manager will focus on:

  • Managing 200 small to medium sized customers by processing orders, preparing correspondences and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive Lead Generation for over 1000 new prospects with companies ranging from 5-100 employees through Phone Prospecting, Cold Calling and Campaigns
  • Commercial Account Manager Expectations/Role Responsibilities:
  • Supporting your territories to ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction
  • Ongoing management of Customer Affairs - service escalations, customer satisfaction etc.
  • Efficiency in preparing Account Reviews, Proposals, Closing Calls and all customer facing materials
  • Keep up-to-date records on customer contracts and engagement using HubView CRM
  • Presenting campaign ideas to clients that meet the client's needs and budget by answering product and service questions.
  • Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met.
  • Lead generation through cold calling and phone prospecting
  • Develop effective lead nurturer processes to maximize conversion of calls answered to prospect
  • Research, identify, qualify and develop new partnership opportunities
  • Pipeline Growth in all lines of business
  • Focus on non-customer lead generation
  • Briefing the Agency Sales Associates who will produce the adverts and maintain customer support
  • Participate in all training and sales skill development learning
  • Maintain a high level of product, solution and services knowledge


Qualifications and Skills:

  • College or University Degree
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales experience
  • A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
  • Customer-Centric, self starter individual who is looking to join a technology company and drive growth through innovation
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
  • Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals colleagues and clients
  • Excellent people skills – empathetic, understanding, persuasive, collaborative, calm under stress and team player
  • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques would be a strong plus
  • Proven sales ability with capability to meet and surpass targets and goals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • High level of integrity and work ethic

Salary Expectations:
